HELLO and WELCOME

Some of you may already have seen this picture if you receive the AtoZ Fitness Newsletter. You'll know then, that I am the one doing the introductions to it. What you may not know, is that I also do some of the other less visible things for the Newlsletter, such as chosing one of the articles that go in every week, as well as having prepared the up coming change in the layout for the AtoZ Fitness home page (look for it).

I also run part of the AtoZ Fitness Members' Forum, where a lot of our members have signed up but sadly few are posting or asking questions. I hope this will change as people get more "daring"? Not sure what is holding them back at the moment.

Tom Venuto asked me a while back to be a moderator on his Inner Circle members forum, and I was delighted and honored to accept. If you are a member there, you will also be able to read some of my input on that forum.

I started a blog more or less after a challenge from Tom back in April 06, which you can have a look at to see where I started from basically CLICK-HERE There are some "before" pics that still make me shudder. How did I ever let myself get that way?

I sometimes wonder when I watch "The Biggest Loser" (lousy program as far as fat-loss goes, just good enough for entertainment) how people could let themselves get that out of shape. And their comments like "I had no idea I was this heavy" or "big" or whatever ... don't they have scales and full-length mirrors at home? Don't they see what size clothes and shoes they have to buy? How can they have "no idea"?

I reacted before I got to that point. After a few months at a terrible forum for total amateurs in Norway (I won't name it) I stumbled across a link to a just-as-bad web-site, but this one had another link, to the best thing that ever happened to me! This book changed my life completely. It was a book written by Tom Venuto, pro body builder and a great guy! Have a look for yourself:
BFFM I've also placed it in the margin also, for quick reference in the future.

That being said, all links you will find here are for serious web-sites, run by honest and serious people who believe that fitness and body building should be all-natural. I will never send you to a web site which prones the use of "juice" (i.e. steroids, in case you are new to the fitness scene). And in this connection, there is another great book you should check out All Stars Training Secrets which is packed with information from 15 professionals on how to burn fat and build muscle. This is also placed in the margin of my blog, if you lose track of which entry it was posted in.

Have a look at the other links while you're here, there is some really good meterial collected in one small space :) such as Jon Benson's Fit Over 40 with co-author Tom Venuto, as well as his Simply Eat which takes a lot of guesswork out of any diet!

Also, for a limited time, I can give you a special offer from Jon MPower which is available until the end of the year. Honestly, check it out! He's giving away a lot of information which can make a huge difference for anyone! (Yes, I have it too).

I hope to get some comments to my posts, and will in any case keep posting and letting anyone who reads this know of the tips and sites I get hold of and stumble across. I'll be posting my own workouts periodically, let you know of any nutritional changes I make in order to obtain the results I am working towards, an if there is anything else you would like me to tel you about, let me know!
